Scope of Practice
“Scope of Practice” is just a fancy term for what I do as a coach, and what I don’t do.
As a life coach, I will work with you to find the best ways to support the life changes you seek, through new habits of thought and behaviour, appropriate to where you're starting out from, and where it is you're headed to.
I will use all the tools at my disposal, including strategic astrology and many brain-related techniques, to assist with that journey.
However, I'm a life coach, not a therapist or a doctor, so I will not diagnose (though I might ask if you’ve had a diagnosis in the past); and I will not prescribe or recommend things for you to take (such as supplements, herbs or drugs).
I fully expect to see significant progress after 4 to 6 weeks of working together, because after a decade of coaching I do know how to help most people get started - and yes, even if your brain is saying “I’m the one uncoachable human” I expect to see progress (because brains often lie).
If we don't see that progress, I may ask you to get blood work done or see a naturopath, to eliminate any underlying physical issues that might be at play.
And if you are already working with a health care professional, you don’t need to reveal all - but I will ask you to continue working with them, and to continue taking any medication you're currently on, for the time being.
I'm not here to replace your health practitioner or therapist - I'm here to join the team supporting YOU.
