Your privacy matters

I was raised as the daughter of a country doctor, who was regularly on call out of office hours. I knew how to answer the phone to patients by the age of six, and I had patient confidentiality drilled into me!

I also recognise that your life and your story belong to you, and not to anyone else.

So I have privacy in my DNA, and your privacy matters to me.

This means:

  • I will do everything in my power to protect all your personal data

  • I will never share any part of your story - including the fact that you are my client, and including any of your amazing results - unless I have your explicit written permission to do so

  • I will never pressure you to give me permission - and I will coach you, if we both agree that your hesitancy arises out of some sense of limitation which is not serving you (and I still won’t share if you don’t want me to!)

  • I will never 'out' you as my client, which means that even if I share something you're promoting or launching, I'll refer to you as my friend or colleague, not my client - unless I have your explicit written permission. It also means if we meet in the street and I'm with my husband, I'll introduce you as a friend, not a client.

The coach/client relationship is not protected by law in the same way as the coach/doctor relationship. But if I'm asked by a third party to reveal your information or anything about our relationship, I will resist doing so to the best of my ability, within the law.

Confidentiality begins at our very first conversation, and lasts in perpetuity.

If I believe there is immediate harm to you or someone else, I will seek immediate assistance from a third party (eg emergency services).

Please find following my formal Privacy Policy.
