It’s not you…

You’re a successful career woman, but you’ve lost the joy and inspiration in your work, and burnout is here or just around the corner.

Driven by perfectionism and overwork, you carry the burden of other people’s needs and expectations, unsure how to let them go. Self-criticism and exhaustion erupt regularly, accompanied by shame and guilt because you’re smart and you ‘should be able to fix this’.

Your career is thriving on the outside, but on the inside, it’s turning to ashes in your mouth. You may have ridden this rodeo more than once, and now you feel stuck because you’ve invested so much time, money, and energy.

If you’re like most people, you’ve already tried SO damn hard to find solutions!

You’ve tackled the practical side of things with productivity apps. You’ve tried coaching or therapy through thought work, affirmations, EFT, or NLP. You’ve tried medications or supplements (or booze) to tackle energy loss and stress. You’ve also explored ‘woo’ solutions like meditation, prayer, astrology, or tarot.

Or you might simply have kept pushing through, hoping for things to change, again and again and again. And while some of these may have provided temporary relief, you’re still struggling and in pain and probably—if we’re honest—feeling pretty pissed off.

The reason so many of those solutions have not been able to create permanent change for you is that the underlying issue is not, and never was, a you-problem.

You are not broken, none of this is your fault, and you do not have a character flaw that needs fixing.

Almost everything you’ve experienced has been created in your brain as a healthy and reasonable response to the unhealthy and unreasonable systems in which we all grew up: toxic capitalism, colonialism, and the patriarchy.

This doesn’t make you a helpless victim. It gives you the power to focus on solving the right problem at last—disrupting and dismantling the toxic tangles left behind by those systems, once and for all.

Successfully healing this relationship with your purpose in the world follows four simple principles:

  • The system in which we were raised is deeply flawed, and it has installed habits of sabotage in your head.

  • That’s not your fault—but it is your responsibility (and your opportunity!) to reprogram your brain.

  • Brains are superbly designed for rapid change when you have the right tools pointed at the right problem.

  • Magic adds a whole new dimension of ease and support to the change process.

You’re seeking to become the version of you who is successfully fulfilling her purpose with joy, grace, and love. When you do that, you liberate yourself to make a powerful choice - you can either rekindle true love for the current gig, or switch it up for something different knowing you won’t take the old patterns with you this time.

Finding your way back to joy and inspiration isn’t about fixing you because you’re not broken.

It’s about unlearning the damaging lessons you’ve internalized, from a world that was never designed to support you.

Your brain’s natural protective responses to the systems around you, have long outlived their usefulness, and it’s time to dismantle them from within.

By recognizing that these issues are systemic rather than personal, you empower yourself to make real, lasting change.

And you are not alone in this struggle!

Many successful, intelligent women are battling the same internal conflicts, feeling the weight of societal expectations and the sting of burnout. But remember, your brain is a powerful ally, capable of remarkable transformation.

But where do you start, when it’s your BRAIN that needs rewiring? All that stress and self-criticism and self-punishment and sadness, they all feel so REAL (and they are).

You begin with a willingness to forgive - to forgive all those times you blamed yourself for losing your joy; forgive all those times you punished yourself for feeling stuck or sad; forgive all those times you said yes when you longed to say no.

You begin with compassion for yourself, with recognition that none of this was EVER your fault; and with relief at the realisation you are not broken or in need of fixing - and a powerful reminder that you are also not a helpless victim in this scenario.

Reclaiming your joy might not be a quick fix, but it is a worthwhile endeavour.

And with each step you take, you’ll find yourself closer to the life you’ve always deserved—one filled with passion, creativity, and true contentment.

So, here’s to you and your journey towards a more joyful, inspired life!

May you find the strength to break free from the old patterns, the wisdom to embrace new possibilities, and the courage to live authentically and unapologetically.

It’s time to reclaim the joy of your true purpose, with all the grace, love, and magic you possess — starting with that gentlest of quests, the decision to embrace self-acceptance for ALL of your messy humanity, and self-compassion for the pain you’ve been in.
